This article, the second in a series of short articles that describe projects or programs in Waterloo Region, Ontario, describes how one community set about to develop the next generation of arts goers and participants. After identifying a key barrier to young people's participation in the arts, the arts community of Waterloo and Wellington regions came up with a simple plan to entice young people and to involve them in new ways.
