DIRECTOR, TIDES CANADA INITIATIVES

Based in Vancouver and reporting to the VP, Business Development and Services, you will lead
Tides Canada’s operating charity. Provide facilitative leadership to an interdepartmental team that delivers a range of financial, governance, human resources and administrative support to projects. Work in active partnership with funders and social entrepreneurs to shape new initiatives and promote the benefits of a shared services model. Develop strategic partnerships and programs within the Tides Canada family of institutions to build capacity for the charitable sector.

You have a Master’s degree and 10+ years of recent, related experience in community and
organizational development. Your demonstrated track record in leadership, management, and
developing and implementing financial sustainability strategies has improved the nonprofit/
philanthropic sectors. You are knowledgeable of the applicable federal and provincial legislation, and of the current challenges and opportunities facing the charitable sector nationally. Seize this opportunity to innovate for impact.
